The Wilson Heart

There area some families out there that just, well, shine.  The Wilson’s are one of them.  Getting the message today that their little warrior Josiah went home to God was like a punch in the stomach.   I got an email from his mom, not 9 days ago…

“You have done a great thing in starting this website and community.  Thank you for encouraging everyone to do more.  I look forward to the day when things calm down a little and our son’s story can inspire more to be done in CHD research and methods.  Our little boy, Josiah, is almost 8 months old, with HLHS and an intact atrial septum and is still fighting for his life. Thank you for all you are doing for CHD babies.”

It is you, Erin – and the Wilson heart family that have done great things.  I wish you were still holding onto him right now, those chubby cheeks.  My heart breaks for you.  I can only pray that his journey – and yours – opens windows of love and change for others.
